Academic holidays

October

Further Education (FE) students studying courses up to and including SCQF Level 6 will have two weeks holiday in October from Monday 9th October to Friday 20th October (inclusive).

Higher Education (HE) students studying courses at SCQF Level 7 and above will follow the UHI Academic Calendar so will have a one week holiday in October from Monday 9th October to Friday 13th October (inclusive).

During this period all Academic staff will have 5 days holiday which will be taken in such a way as not to impact on your learning.

Easter

Academic staff and students will be on holiday from Friday 29th March 2024 to Friday 12th April 2024 (inclusive)

Summer

Academic staff and students will be on holiday from Tuesday 25th June 2024

Please be aware that during holiday periods Academic Staff are not expected to monitor their email.  Should you have any concerns about an urgent query during this time please contact our reception team on 01847 889000.

Further Education Courses

Semester 1 will start during week commencing 28th August 2023 (this includes induction)

Semester 1 will end during week commencing 15th January 2024

Semester 2 will start during week commencing 22nd January 2024

Semester 2 will end during week commencing 27th May 2024
